Page Tools.OPTIONAL After the next boss fight, your mana power recieved from the seeds goes down to zero for a while. If you want to make sure your newer mana spirit's magic is good enough to help you through the next area, which is really long, you can fly to the Wind Palace. Have Primm cast spells and then recover for free with Popoi's grandpa. Popoi can chain cast spells in the forest area just to the south of the Wind Palace as well and then go recover as needed. Do this as long as you like, though I don't really think you need any of the new spirits above level 2 or so to be helpful.
Legend of Mana reveals his name to be Drakonis in the English and Tiamat in the Japanese version. Blow You Away: It uses wind-based attacks and is fought in the sky, with the heroes hitching a ride on Flammie for the duration of the battle. While the party has to go through Gusthall again to get to Dangaard, the actual battle does not take. The Mana Tree Sorcerers I must admit I've never wielded the power of Mana, though in these days technology has advanced to the point to harness Mana through instruments. Still, from what I've seen it's not really that strong, so it must pale to the power the mages of old wielded. Anise Unknown Stones Golden Age Ends Uraklius Aeon.
2013-3.jpg BOSS - AEGAGROPILON Aegagropilon can be pretty annoying. He casts Wall on himself in the first few seconds of the battle (You have about enough time to cast Analyzer on him, and that's it) so you can't hurt him with magic.
He has the ever annoying Sleep Flower, and it's at level seven, so it lasts a while, and he likes to cast Burst a lot, somtimes twice on the same character. Watch out for that, it deals around 100 damage, so if he does it twice on one character and you've been hit once or twice already, it can kill you. His physical attacks are jumping up to land on you, and rolling around really fast, which knocks you down, but luckily not unconcoius like the Spiky and Blue Spike fights. Feel free to start a level one or two charge attack while he's in the air or casting a spell on one of your allies.

Other than that, just hit him with normal attacks from the sword or the spear and he'll die eventually. You recieve a Spear's orb from him when he's defeated.Hurry upstairs to the stage room.

Randi tries to use the sword to seal the seed, but it's withering away too fast and the ground starts to shake. Dryad appears and tells you to leave. She wants to go down with the palace, but you tell her that's pointless, and that you could use her help, so she joins you. Primm and Popoi only get two spells each from Dryad, since Thanatos sealed her 'Mana magic' spell. You'll automatically fly away on Flammie, and you hover above the coral reef to see the continent raise up.
Head somewhere to upgrade your spear, since the next area will last a while. Come back and land on the newly risen continent. You'll find Jema outside the Palace. He says you must hurry beneath the Grand Palace (Tree Palace) and stop the Mana Fortress from rising from the Underground City. 2013-2.jpgWhen you get inside, walk to the left and then cross back over the waterfall when you're on the higher ground to open the chest there, which has a Boomerang's orb in it, then continue into the next room. Here there is a bunch of pink and blue material that blocks your way. Hit it with the axe to get past.
There is a floor panel in the middle of the room, stepping on it resets all the places you've knocked out with the axe, so don't bother stepping on it.You'll come to a waterfall that prevents you from continuing upward, let it push you down, but hug the left side. There will be a red switch half way down, hit it to stop the water's flow, then go back up. Continue past the second waterfall, and then at the third one allow it to push you down, but this time hug the right side of the wall to hit the switch.
Once the water is off, head up and into the next room to face a boss.BOSS - HYDRA This is another two headed dragon like Jabberwocky. It can engulf you in fire, poison you, and knock you out.
Even though it causes status effects, it doesn't do that much damage. It has high physical defense, so your attacks won't be doing that much.
It is weak to Salamando's magic though, so hit it with fireball to deal some real damage. You can't quite tell when it's half dead like the other one because each time it loses a head it grows another one a few seconds after.
It's not a hard boss at all though, it will go down easily. You recieve a Whip's orb after the fight.
After the Mana Tree had died and withered away, the world fell into war over the last remnants of Mana (a source of unlimited power). Eventually the wars stopped and the world returned to peace.
The Mana goddess selected a certain few who would return Mana, and happiness to the world: Elazul, Pearl, Escad, Daena, Larc, Sierra and you. Some, however opposed the return of Mana, fearing the world would fall back into war. Every background and character is beautifully hand-drawn in this game. This is the type of game that lets you adjust every detail: what type of weapon you want (axe, sword, knives etc.), even how the world is arranged. An awesome feature of this game is the building system. As you travel through your adventures you come across materials such as metal, fabric, wood and aerolites. Once you have built your workshops these materials allow you to temper and alter weapons and armor to make you stronger. On top of that, you can catch monsters and animals to have as battle partners. As if that weren't enough you can build scrap golems with lasers, missiles and explosives if you want a golem instead of a monster.
Think the features are over? After you decide where you want your house on the map, you can start placing down towns, mountains, beaches, lakes, caverns and even the Underworld! See the farther the places are from your home, the stronger the items and monsters are.
And on we go to the battle system: the battles take place in real time. You can perform slashes, strikes, stabs, magic and special techniques. And like all Seiken Densetsu games you can plug in a second controller to let your friend play as NPCs or a character they've raised up in their own game. So once you've got your gear strapped on, your monster with you, some magic equipped, and a partner, you can start slamming down lands and exploring them.
Ahhhhhhh,I finally find relief from all of Squaresoft's weak games and go for a great one! 'SD4:Legend of Mana' is still a great entry in the SD series. If you were looking for another Zelda-styled RPG,be verra disappointed. The fighting style is rather diffrent this time around. The battles are rather Arcade-Game like and is rather a very intresting change of pace.Unfortunately, you cannot run away from battles(pooh, but oh well, you'll be stronger!). There is not one,but many, many, many storylines in the game! However, here is the main story: 'It was many years after the Mana tree recovered (unlike FF,the SD series follow each other believe it or not),everything was utopian,or at least seemed like it for a while. But then, strife began and people lost hope in Mana and people were hopelessly fighting.900 years later, the world lays in wreck. Two sprites, one boy,one girl (of course ^-^) must find the artifacts and restore the world to it's former beauty that was many years ago.' The extra options help too, such as raising pet monsters, making golems, magic instuments, armour and weapons. Most of the characters were wonderfully scupted and done well. Most are even cute too as well (but weren't the other SD characters cute as well?
But the two things I did not like about it is that they took cute chibi Flammie out of the game and replaced her with ugly and deformed looking hippo creatures.I also hated Niccolo, the fat bunny salesman.I just feel like slamming the door hard and scream. But I won't let the flaws in the way of anything.
